Maui has an abudance of public beaches to choose from. Although we do have our preferred beaches, your Aloha Aisles wedding coordinator will be happy to assist you at any permissable beach you wish. At this time, Ka'anapali Beach is not a permissable beach and as such we are unable to offer weddings at this location. We will, however, be more than happy to assist you in finding another beautiful site within the area for your ceremony.
Hawai'i State Law requires all beach weddings to be permitted and meet specific requirements. Aloha Aisles will secure this permit for you. The permit cost (included in all packages) is based on square footage necessary and includes all those in attendance (i.e. officiant, videographer, photographer). For custom packages, the cost of the permit will be invoiced at the time of your contract signing.
Our beaches are pristine oases and we love to help keep them this way. In order to do so, Hawai'i State Law prohibits the use of wedding props such as gazebos, arches, chairs, or other enhancements. Amplified music is also prohibited, however, a solo acoustic musician may accompany you.
Please keep in mind that as public spaces, Maui beaches are not the most private of places. The beaches are used by the general public, both visitors and locals alike. We love sharing our most cherished locales with you, but we respect the rights of others also using the beaches during your ceremony. Therefore, we are unable reserve or fence space nor can we ask other beach users (or even wedding parties) to move from a designated spot.
Although Maui has a tropical, sunny climate, it is important to remember that inclimate weather is always a possibility. Our beaches do not afford any type of sheltered back-up should the weather be variable. If you are concerned about the level of privacy or the chance of showers perhaps choosing another venue would be more suitable.
All of that said, we do believe Maui beach weddings are magical moments and we would love for you to exchange your marriage vows with your feet in our Maui sand.
